  • After cleaning every home:
    • Check the roller brush.
    • Cut off any excess hairs, strings that are stuck.
    • Wipe the bottom cover of the vacuum with sanitizing spray.
    • Wipe the top cover of the vacuum with sanitizing spray.
  • Do not let the bag get filled up to the top, change the bag once it is over 3/4 of its capacity.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Problem Cause Solution
Motor will not start Electric plug

Power switch not turned “ON”

• Push plug securely into outlet
• Try another outlet
• Check circuit breaker• Make sure power switch is “ON”
No suction at end of hose Full paper bag
Paper bag clogged
Hose clogged
Front cover not latched
• Replace paper bag
• Replace paper bag
• Remove any clogs from hose that restrict airflow, then try again
Push front cover until it latches firmly
Reduced suction Full paper bag
Slip ring open
Hose clogged
• Replace paper bag
• Rotate slip ring on wand until hole is covered
• Remove any clogs from hose that restrict airflow, then try again
Vacuum shuts off Internal safety thermostat trips
(see page 4 for details)
• Unplug cleaner and check for obstructions in hose, wands and attachments
• Check for full paper bag
• Clean/replace motor filter
