Purpose

A professionally made bed is one of the first things clients notice when entering a bedroom. The goal is not simply to straighten the bedding, but to create a clean, polished, hotel-quality appearance.

BA House Cleaning Standard

Before leaving the bedroom, stand in the doorway and ask yourself:

“Does this bed look like it belongs in a hotel or Airbnb listing photo?”

If the answer is no, take an additional minute to adjust and refine the presentation.

Key Expectations

Duvets & Comforters

• Center the duvet or comforter evenly on the bed.
• Ensure equal overhang on both sides.
• Smooth wrinkles and creases.
• Straighten corners and edges.

Pillows

• Fluff all pillows.
• Arrange pillows symmetrically.
• Sleeping pillows should be neatly positioned.
• Decorative pillows should be centered and intentionally arranged.
• Ensure pillowcases are facing the same direction when possible.

Overall Presentation

• Bedding should appear smooth and wrinkle-free.
• Decorative throws should be folded neatly.
• Bed skirts should be straight and visible if applicable.
• The final appearance should be neat, balanced, and professional.
