Resuming Service for a Paused Client

When a client contacts the office to restart service after a pause, first determine why the service was paused.

Ask:
“Can you remind me why service was paused previously?”
Then follow the appropriate path below.

1. Home Was Vacant During Pause

Example situations:

• Client was traveling
• Client had a seasonal home
• Home was empty between tenants
• Client temporarily relocated

➡ Follow the Vacancy Resume Process below

Vacancy Resume Process

  1. Confirm the home remained vacant during the pause.
  2. Schedule a Top-to-Bottom cleaning to reset the home.
  3. Provide the standard full price first.

3a. If the client pushes back on price, review current marketing promotions available for new clients.
3b. Apply the promotion only if appropriate.

  1. After the initial cleaning, schedule recurring service.
  2. If the client account has a Service On Hold tag, create a task to remove the Service On Hold tag once service resumes.

• Kitchen remodel
• Flooring replacement
• Bathroom renovation
• Major construction work
