Managing Ads

Indeed

Monitor ads on Indeed at least twice a week

  • Make sure the ads are new and no more than 1 week old. If they are, the ads need to be closed and new ads posted.
  • How are they performing? Are we getting interviews?
  • Are we staying within budget for each ad? If you don’t know the budget, be sure to find out what it is.
  • How is each individual city performing? Are we targeting cities where we need technicians? Do we need to adjust which cities we are advertising in?
  • Are we running in no more than 4 cities at a time in the East Bay area?
  • Are the ads spending? If they aren’t, the account may have been flagged and indeed rep will need contacted.

Contact indeed employer help for help with any of the above issues.

Spanish ads (El Clasifciado)

Monitor the ads at least once every 30 days.
www.elclasificado.com

  • Monitor how the ad is performing. When an applicant calls/texts or walks in, find out where they found out about us. Keep track in this Google Sheet.
  • Monitor cost per applicant. Take the weekly cost and divide by number of applicants. This will help determine whether we should continue running ads, and if we should spend more for multiple ads, or larger ads in a top performer.
  • Check to see placement. Is our ad up front and easy to see? Or hidden somewhere in the back and difficult to find? See if they will give better placement, it never hurts to ask! (*Brinka every 48 hrs, highlight our ad every Monday)
  • How does the ad look? Is everything spelled correctly? Is there enough space or does the ad look crowded? Is there a large picture of a happy cleaning technician? There should be!
  • Are the directions clear and easy to understand?
  • Its not recommended to post email address.
