Flex Priority — Office Knowledge Base & Approval Process

Purpose

Flex Priority is a limited, approval-only program that gives qualified households first access to select discounted Priority Cleaning openings.

These opportunities may be available when BA House Cleaning has a training need for a newly certified cleaning technician, when a technician needs additional hands-on experience, or when there is an operational opening to fill.

Flex Priority members receive special savings in return for flexibility and completing feedback after each cleaning.

Discounts are up to 40% off standard Priority Cleaning rates. The exact discount depends on the specific opportunity, including the training need, technician level, scope, timing, and availability.

Flex Priority vs. Flex Recurring

Flex Priority is for limited, one-time, focused Priority Cleaning opportunities. Appointment details and discounts vary by opening.

Flex Recurring is a separate ongoing recurring-maintenance program with its own eligibility, scheduling, and pricing terms.

How to Explain Flex Priority to Clients

Flex Priority gives approved members first access to limited discounted Priority Cleanings when opportunities become available. These focused appointments help newly certified cleaning technicians continue building hands-on experience, while members receive special savings in return for flexibility and feedback.

Do not promise or imply:

  • A specific discount, including 40% off
  • A specific date, time, arrival window, technician, or frequency of openings
  • A full-home clean, deep clean, or Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning result
  • That an applicant will be approved
  • That an approved member will receive an appointment

What a Flex Priority Cleaning Is

Each Flex Priority appointment is a focused, time-limited Priority Cleaning.

After a member claims an opening, they select the areas they would like prioritized for that specific appointment. The office then confirms the approved scope, duration, and price before anything is booked.

Flex Priority is not intended for:

  • Move-in or move-out cleanings
  • Post-construction cleaning
  • Hoarding, biohazard, unsafe, or severely neglected conditions
  • Severe buildup or an overdue whole-home first clean
  • Clients expecting a guaranteed deep clean
  • Clients requiring a specific technician
  • Clients requiring a fixed arrival window
  • Clients expecting full-home results from a limited Priority Cleaning appointment

Flex Priority is not a discounted substitute for a Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning.

Approval Process

Step 1: Review the Application

Confirm the applicant is within BA House Cleaning’s normal service area and appears to be a good fit for Flex Priority.

Review for signs that the household is not appropriate for focused, time-limited Priority Cleaning opportunities, including move-out needs, post-construction cleaning, severe buildup, unsafe conditions, or expectations for a full deep clean.

Step 2: Review Home Fit

Use the home-condition score as a screening guide.

Condition score 1–6

Generally eligible for Flex Priority, assuming the home is in the service area and the applicant understands the program.

Condition score 7–8

Manual review required. The home may only be suitable for a very limited Flex Priority opening. Recommend a Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning first. If the client does not want to move forward with that, we can still schedule a Priority Cleaning with management approval. Request photos and consult a manager if the fit is unclear.

We need to clearly set expectations beforehand. A Priority Cleaning is not a deep clean, so the final result may not be what the client is expecting. The technician may either:

  • Spend more time on each priority area to clean it thoroughly, which means they may not get through everything on the list, or
  • Move more quickly to cover more items, which may affect the level of detail and overall quality.

We want to make sure the client understands this before booking so there are no surprises afterward.

If approved, requires manual action for the GHL contact to be tagged with “flex program – approved”

Condition score 9–10

Do not approve for Flex Priority at this time.

Recommend a Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning before future Flex Priority consideration.

Step 3: Look for Red Flags

Use manual review or redirect the applicant if there are signs of:

  • An out-of-area address
  • Move-out or post-construction needs
  • Unsafe conditions
  • Severe buildup
  • A desire for a full deep clean rather than focused priority work
  • Rigid timing, technician, or arrival-window expectations
  • Unwillingness to provide feedback
  • Expectations that do not match the Flex Priority model

Step 4: Make the Decision

Approve when the home is a reasonable fit, is within the service area, and the applicant understands the program.

Manual Review when the home-condition score is 7–8 or when any details are unclear. Do not add the applicant to the active alert list until a manager approves.

Redirect when the home is not a fit for focused Priority Cleaning. Recommend the appropriate standard service, usually a Top-to-Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning. Do not frame this as a judgment about the client or their home.

Approved Member Setup

Once a client is approved:

  1. Add the GHL tag: Flex Priority – Approved
  2. Approval/welcome message is automatically sent
  3. Confirm the client will receive opening alerts by text message, email, Facebook group, or a combination of those methods.
  4. If the client is on Facebook, send them the private Flex Priority Facebook Group link and invite them to reques
