CT of the Quarter Selection Process

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for selecting the Cleaning Technician of the Quarter using MaidCentral and the associated tracking spreadsheet.

Step 1: Accessing the Employee Stats Report

  1. Log in to MaidCentral.
  2. Navigate to Reports > Employee Stats Report.
  3. Adjust the date range to match the quarter you are reviewing:
    • Quarter 1: January 1 – March 31
    • Quarter 2: April 1 – June 30
    • Quarter 3: July 1 – September 30
    • Quarter 4: October 1 – December 31
  4. Click Run Report to generate the data.

Step 2: Sorting & Exporting Data

  1. Once the report appears, sort the data by first name by clicking on the First Name column header.
  2. Click on the Export button.
  3. Copy the exported data.

Step 3: Updating the Tracking Spreadsheet

  1. Open the Cleaning Technician of the Quarter Tracking Spreadsheet:
Cleaning Technician of the Quarter Spreadsheet
  2. Click on the Data tab.
  3. Right-click on the Last Name cell (first entry in the Data column) and select Paste to input the new report data.

Step 4: Verifying Data Accuracy

  1. Go to the Calculator tab in the spreadsheet.
  2. Verify that all numbers have been pulled in correctly.
  3. If any formulas are not working or numbers are not displaying correctly, contact Anita for adjustments.

Step 5: Confirming Eligibility

  • Only Cleaning Technicians who have been employed for the full quarter (3 months) are eligible for the award.
  • If a technician was hired mid-quarter, they do not qualify.

Step 6: Adding New Employees to the System

  • Occasionally, you may need to add new Cleaning Technicians to the tracking sheet.
  • To do so:
    1. Scroll to the end of the green column in the Calculator tab.
    2. Add the new employee’s name exactly as it appears in MaidCentral (first name must match exactly for correct data pull).

Step 7: Awarding the Winner

  • The Cleaning Technician of the Quarter Winner gets to spin the prize wheel in the office.
  • The Onsite Operations Assistant will:
    • Have the winner spin the wheel.
    • Record a video of the spin and share it with the Operations Manager.
    • Execute the gift based on the prize won.

By following this process, you ensure accurate and fair selection for the Cleaning Technician of the Quarter Award. If you encounter any issues, reach out to Anita for further assistance.
