Cleaning Technician Bio – Information Collection

Purpose

This step collects personal information from the Cleaning Technician that will be used to create their client-facing bio in MaidCentral.

The bio is shown to clients after service when they view their visit summary and have the option to leave a tip. It helps humanize the technician, strengthen connection, and reinforce the BAHC Way.

When This Happens

• After the technician completes their first week
• Once they are actively cleaning homes
• Assigned to Admin / Onboarding Lead

Why This Matters

A strong bio:

• Helps clients feel connected to the technician
• Reinforces professionalism and care
• Supports appreciation and tipping
• Elevates the overall BA House Cleaning experience

We want bios to feel authentic, warm, and aligned with our values of WOW through detail, Care Focus, professionalism, respect, and positive energy.

Step 1: Send Bio Questions to Technician

Now that you’ve completed your first week (great job 👏), we’d love to create your short bio that clients will see before you arrive at their home.

This helps clients feel more comfortable and connected — and it allows them to see you as a real person, not just a name on the schedule. It’s also included when a client leaves a tip.

You have full control over what we share. Only include what you feel comfortable with.

To help you think about it, here are some ideas — answer any that feel natural to you:

• What do you take the most pride in when you clean?
• What kind of energy do you bring into a home?
• What’s something clients might notice about your work?
• Do you have a favorite area to clean (kitchens, bathrooms, organizing, etc.)?
• What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
• One small fun fact about you
• What languages do you speak?
• What have you enjoyed so far about working at BA House Cleaning?

It doesn’t need to be long — just a few sentences is perfect 🙂

Step 2: Save Responses

Once the technician responds:

• Copy their answers
• Save them in their onboarding folder (Google Drive / ClickUp / Employee File)
• Proceed to the “Cleaning Technician Bio Creation (MaidCentral)” KB article to generate the final bio

Important Guidelines

• Do not rewrite their answers manually
• Do not pressure them to share personal details
• Only use information they are comfortable sharing
• If answers are too short, politely ask one follow-up question for clarity

This keeps the process consistent, scalable, and aligned with the BAHC Way.
