Calculating CT’s PTO Pay

• Vacation after 2 years of employment (loaded on anniversary via Gusto)
• Sick time after 90 days (accrual basis via Gusto)
• Daily pay = 8 hrs @ average Hourly rate

IMPORTANT: Not shown in video but you will need to record the time off date in GUSTO as well.

Calculating Average Hourly rate

1. Verify PTO or Sick Balance is available in Gusto.  
   
2. In Gusto, pull up last 90 days payroll report for specific employee

1. Scroll down to particular employees gross totals.
2. Use data from above report and THIS form to calculate the daily PTO rate.
